Commercial Construction Project Manager

Job Summary:

Responsibilities and Duties:
•Manage multiple projects from permitting to turnover
•Prepare and update project schedules
•Write subcontracts and purchase agreements
•Monthly progress cost tracking and billing
•Contract administration and change order management
•Direct and supervise workers and subcontractors with appropriate field management personnel
•Review and analyze contract documents for implementation of proper construction methods
•Attend project meetings with owners, design team, and construction team
•Oversee quality control programs

Qualifications and Skills:
•A 2-3 year associate's degree or four-year bachelor's degree in construction management, or
•Minimum 5 years of experience in construction projects
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualitative and Other Attributes Required:
•Plan and organize a team effort
•Self-Starter
•Effective time management and logical decision-making ability
•Understanding of Bid-Build process and estimating
•Understanding of Construction Management at Risk build process and estimating
•Understanding of design build process and estimating
•Understanding of blueprints

Computer literate including: Microsoft Office and Project, Sage, Submittal Exchange, and On-Screen Take-off
